Hip Hop pioneers Afrika Bambaattaa and The Beastie Boys have been nominated for induction into the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame. Nine artists have been nominated but only five will be inducted. Grandmaster Flash and the Furious Five are still the only Hip Hop act to be inducted into the hall.
