Dr. Dre protégé Bishop Lamont recently spilled the beans on what Slim Shady has been cooking up in the studio. According to Bishop, Em is back at his best and recording for the new album. “He went through what he had to go through, and now he’s been able to take all the pain and stress and put it out in his music,” Lamont said.

Shady Records has issued an official statement regarding Obie Trice’s departure from the label. “Eminem will continue to support and work with Obie on many levels of his career. He remains a close friend and member of the Shady family,” Eminem’s manager Paul Rosenberg said in the statement.

Obie Trice has officially left Shady Records, it was confirmed today. Obie’s manager said the label and Trice were simply moving in two different directions. “But he still has a great relationship with Shady Records. He has some big plans for his World Wide Hustle label,” Obie’s manager Terry Wilson said.

During his acceptance speech, ‘Ye brought out rival and friend Lil Wayne and congratulated him on his recent success. “It feels good, like a family reunion to stand on stage with Lil Wayne,” Kanye said.
