Less than a week after being slapped with a lawsuit by New York-based book publisher Simon and Schuster, a lawyer for Foxy Brown has fired back on behalf of her client. The lawsuit stems from a deal that went sour regarding Brown’s autobiography. “Simon and Shuster… were the ones [that] halted the project,” Fox’s lawyer said.
Rapper Trick Daddy has announced that he’ll soon be releasing an autobiography. The Dunk Ryder Record CEO said his book was “amazing” and expects publishers to quickly pickup the title. “I have a writer, I have a agent already shopping the book, and actually, I think we’ll have a book deal by next week,” he said.

Times has officially retracted an article that implicated Sean “Diddy” Combs and Jimmy Rosemond in the 1994 assault of Tupac Shakur. “Any statements or implications suggesting that Combs was given advance knowledge of the assault on Shakur, or played any role in it, are specifically retracted,” the apology read.

Times, claiming the paper’s fraudulent 2Pac article put his family at risk. “[Chuck Phillip’s] actions were done with reckless disregard for the truth and for that the L.A. Times will be held responsible,” Henchmen’s lawyer Jeffery Lichtman said.
