After filing for bankruptcy back in 2006, a Judge has ordered that all of Death Row’s assets be auctioned off to the highest bidder on June 24th. Assets include the rights to all of the recordings of 2Pac, Snoop Doggy Dogg and Dr. Dre. The minimum bid is $24 million and word is Warner Bros. Music has already made an offer.
A man who worked security for Busta Rhymes was shot multiple times and found dead in the back of a pickup truck on Wednesday. Bronx resident Jermaine Williams, 35, was found in Ozone Park, Queens, his body wrapped in a blanket. Williams had worked as Busta’s bodyguard in the past, but it is unclear if he was still employed.
Nasty Nas may have been forced to change the title of his upcoming album but that hasn’t stopped the Queens emcee from getting his message out. With the help of DJ Green Lantern, Nas plans to release the N*gger Mixtape within the next couple of months. Green Lantern said Corporate forces won’t stop Nas this time.
